“Why Top Industry Mentors Recommend RHEL — Learn Linux Installation Today!”
Hello Techies,
Today I started a new journey of my life as an identity arthian who wants to impact the world through the power of knowledge. Coming to the point.
Top Industries mentors recommend that “ Learning Linux is a must for any technical learner”
The first question that arises in your mind is “What is Linux?”
Linux is an Operating System. Now, Shams what is an Operating System?
An Operating System (OS) is a collection of software that manages computer hardware resources like RAM, ROM, and Processor and provides common services for computer programs.
Examples of Operating Systems are Windows, Linux, Mac OS, etc.
The use case of OS (Operating System) for one single purpose is to run the program (VLC Player, Notepad, Browser, etc)
The Program is written in some kind of programming language (C++, JAVA, Python, etc) that is Code or Program File or Command.
The three main components in a system are RAM(Random Access Memory), CPU(Central Processing Unit), and Hard Disk.
Also, we have to store data, Hard disk is used as a permanent and persistent storage. And Ram is used as a Temporary storage. The only way to store data on the hard disk is to put the data in the file. We have to create a folder or directory to create a file. When we run a command, it’s loaded from the Hard Disk into RAM and becomes a process.
Most of the companies in the world use Linux OS in their data centers. Also, Most supercomputers use a Linux-based operating system, each manufacturer optimizes its own Linux derivative for peak hardware performance.
Linux distributors are available, such as Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, openSUSE, SUSE Linux Enterprise, Arch Linux, Manjaro Linux, Gentoo, etc
Four different ways to install an OS
- Bare Metal Directly on the Hardware
